Kathleen Richardson is Professor of Ethics and Culture of Robots and AI and part of the Europe-wide DREAM project (Development of Robot-Enhance Therapy for Children with AutisM) and the REELER (Responsible Ethical Learning in Robotics) project (Horizon2020). She is also founder of an ethics campaign against sex robots and writes on the topic of robots, gender and sexuality. Kathleen completed her PhD in the department of social anthropology, University of Cambridge. Her fieldwork was an investigation of the making of robots in labs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her robotics and AI work is informed by the politics of natural rights and anti-slavery.
