Standards and ethics are a crucial part of the SHERPA project. NEN is not only the Dutch standardization institute but often seen as ‘the gateway to European standardization’ as a member of CEN and CENELEC. ETSI is the recognised regional standards body – European Standards Organisation (ESO) – dealing with telecommunications, broadcasting and other electronic communications networks and services.
