SHERPA, SIENNA and Panelfit are working towards setting future ethical standards
In an effort to assist policymakers in the struggle to assess the ethical, legal and human rights impacts of IT systems, the PANELFIT, SHERPA and SIENNA projects are collaborating on how to improve ethical, human rights and legal frameworks for information and communication technologies (ICT), big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics.  The PANELFIT, SHERPA and SIENNA projects just published an editorial in Orbit to explain how we collaborate and work together with stakeholders to improve existing ethical standards.
Since stakeholder involvement is key for all three projects, our outputs will support the European Union’s vision of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). Each of the project authors detail a short introduction to the individual projects and outline plans for collaboration with the aim to maximise our joint policy impact.
